Patagónia

About Patagonia

Experiences:

In this region, you can enjoy exclusive experiences like sailing with wine and tapas on Nahuel Huapi, flying over Ushuaia to appreciate the mountain views, trekking the Perito Moreno Glacier, and also taking a big trip to Antarctica. During winter, you can also enjoy the ski season.

Cuisine:

Lamb, Trout & Regional Cuisine

Taste the essence of Patagonia with tender fire-roasted lamb and freshly caught trout from crystal-clear lakes. Pair these flavours with local berries and craft beer for a true taste of the South.

Fauna:

Whales, Penguins, Guanacos & Birds

From the vast Atlantic coast to the Andean forests, Patagonia is alive with remarkable wildlife. Spot southern right whales and Magellanic penguins along the coast, guanacos and rheas across the steppe, and native deer, foxes, and condors near Bariloche. In Ushuaia, beavers and sea lions shape the wild beauty of the world’s southernmost landscapes.

Weather:

Patagonia is characterised by cold weather. From December to March, we experience summer, and it is a good time of the year to visit places like Villa La Angostura or Bariloche and see the colourful mountains that turn all green.

But if you are more into skiing, you can visit Patagonia from June to September. That is the snow season.

From March to June, we experience autumn and all the south turns into a painting with red, orange and yellow colours, and also the first snowfalls can already be seen.  This time of the year is a good moment to see the famous El Chalten.

During Spring, you can admire the fauna all around Patagonia, and in October, you can make a good trip going to see the whales in Puerto Madryn.
